In 2014, in consultation with the local community the Royal Bay Area Plan was adopted to become part of the City of Colwood Official Community Plan. As part of that application process three public Open House meetings were held in the spring of 2014, allowing the public to review and comment on the materials presented.
We are delighted to report that significant interest was generated within our surrounding community, with an estimated 700 people attending across the three community sessions. More than 180 public feedback forms were received over the course of consultation which helped guide our process and planning. The final Area Plan approval was received in June 2014, the details of which can be found on the Royal Bay Plan page.
