Summer fun was at its peak this August when nine participants, three volunteers and three staff from Power To Be spent the day paddleboarding at Royal Bay Beachpark.
Residents and visitors to Royal Bay can spend the summer exploring the coastline on a rented paddleboard from Gyro Beach Board Shop. The paddleboard rental shop is now open at the Royal Bay Beachpark until Labour Day.

Today marked the official launch of our Royal Bay community, as the President of Royal Bay, Russell Tibbles and the City of Colwood Mayor, Carol Hamilton turned over the first ground of what will become Royal Bay’s Neighbourhood House.
